Enjoyed being in Brisbane last week, supporting Chad Vanburgel who competed as part of the Western Australian team in wall and floor tiling at WorldSkills Australia. You did an amazing job Chad, and it was so good to see you competing with the best in Australia and displaying your skills and attention to detail! Not often you get thousands of people watching what you do every day of the week, and you turned out a quality result yet again!

Recent repairs to two balconies on the one residence. Top floor apartment which was leaking and causing damage to apartments below.
Diagnose the cause of the leak, designing an effective solution via customized flashings to prevent water leaks through the joints in the fibre cement cladding and establishing a skirting tile to fit in to the new flashings.
A real team effort ... we had to "winterize" the balcony by fitting tarps to keep the rain out while we progressed the work.
Removed existing tiles and screed, installed the newly designed flashings and skirtings, applied water proof membranes and screed and re-tiled with a new channel grate drain.
Top class finish, happy clients and no more leaks 👍

Despite a few logistical challenges, the end result for these custom fabricated privacy screens was worth it. Replaced timber supported and framed screens with steel frames and perforated mesh screens.

The crew were fantastic and great to see the collaboration and team effort . Also the safety first approach and leadership from the crew leader was brilliant. It was a difficult site to work on and needed care and planning.
The clean up was also spotless .
