Megha and her fellow panellists will collectively celebrate the achievements of women in geospatial, address the challenges they've conquered, and share the invaluable experiences that have fuelled their remarkable journeys.

While Ajan Sendhil (Graduate Consultant - Advisory and Innovation) delivers a thought-provoking presentation titled 'Spatial Digital Twins: Product and Enabler of the Geospatial Ecosystem'. Ajan's presentations reveals a framework that features the geospatial ecosystem and spatial digital twins as layers. These layers would encompass existing focused spatially enabled end-user applications, enhance them, and drive the transition from delivering point-based solutions, to interconnected and integrated solutions at scale, addressing cross-cutting parameters, using .

The upcoming aerial capture season in New Zealand will see Woolpert operating both a Leica DMCIII 4-band imaging sensor and a Terrain-Mapper 2 LiDAR system (which also captures concurrent 4-band imagery).

These sensors will be supporting contracts that the Woolpert New Zealand team has with both local and national government. A majority of LiDAR capture will be over Hawke’s Bay in support of Cyclone Gabrielle recovery.

‘Woolpert is thrilled to be using our industry leading technology and processes to support recovery and rebuild efforts resulting from Cyclone Gabrielle earlier this year’ says NZ account manager Fadia Zein.

Fadia said Toitƫ Te Whenua Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) have been innovators in their mission to map most of Aotearoa New Zealand using laser sensors. They are currently at 50% complete and the end goal is 80% (source: LINZ).

'With baseline LiDAR data captured before the cyclone, newly captured data will be vital in determining affected areas and providing up to date information to aid in the rebuild.’

Pioneers in the use of airborne LiDAR in New Zealand, Woolpert looks forward to continuing to support New Zealand government and industry.
