Ok so keep banging on about it - but this new Air Drop just keeps on getting better.

Fresh from the bag it’s full of juicy acidity and stone fruit.
Let it sit in the hopper a day and it softens up to be a smooth raison brown sugar marvel.

Opening up a bag of Air Drop is a wee adventure.
Our goal is to bring you a rotating selection of coffee from all around the world showcasing the delicious complexity found in specialty coffee.
Currently Air Drop is featuring the super clean washed Mbinga from Tanzania.
Sweet raison, panella and a little orange like acidity mean this coffee makes friends with everyone.
Equally happy in milk or as a long black, we have been enjoying this at our usual suggested recipe parameters but also a little low and slow does wonders also.
Drop a degree while brewing and add another few seconds of brew time for a subtle alternative expression of this sensational drop.

Here for a good time - not a long one ☕️

Heads up!
We just got a special delivery.

Our latest Air Drop features a well balanced delight from Tanzania near the shores of Lake Nyasa.
A little something for everyone in this cup.
Soft rounded brown sugar tones, a dab of vanilla with a splash of orange juice acidity.

Black, white or stovetop it doesn’t matter.
Mbinga bringa the good times.

We love a cracking unboxing!

For those of you who don’t know what this is, this, is pure speed.

This is the Markibar Inzaga GBW, which pre grinds your coffee to a desired set target weight and then instantly dispenses when you want your next shot. No waiting for grinding.

For busy cafes out there, low service times and consistency are an absolute must.

This grinder tackles both these non negotiable components head on.

Saving 7 seconds per drink really adds up over a busy service.

Once we unboxed and calibrated, it was accurate to .1 of a gram to target, which is ideal for keeping those preciously dialled shots tasting as you intended.

This is a workflow dream.

While Phillip Island is famous for beach fun and penguins it’s also home to some amazing hospitality venues.

A highlight on this list is .phillipisland just a stone’s throw from Cowes beach.

The delightful Gen and Christian have created a cosy community hub serving copious caffeine cups by day and quality cocktails by night.

We were stoked to be able to spend some time together calibrating and fine tuning some delicious Mic Drop 🎤 on their powerfully Orange LaMarzocco Linea PB. If it doesn’t have a name yet we would like to nominate - Clementine - 😎

Another cracking week! All puns accepted here. Zero judgement.

One or our favourite pieces of feedback we receive is how consistent our coffee is. Not only in flavour but also ease of use.

Aw shucks. We think so too.

This is no accident though. Every roast is recorded carefully to provide us real time feedback to support the sensory experience. Then we refine and go again.

Every second of time and tenth of a degree impact what’s happening in the cup.

No pressure!

Just like a great chef with a recipe, some days we need to make a little tweak so give the coffee it’s je ne sais quoi.
