🚀 TPAB July Board Meeting X EOFY Party Recap 🚀

First meeting of the new financial year and what a cracking day it was! We were excited to kick off our meetings at our beautiful new home at CUB. The elevated space perfectly reflects the calibre of conversations, collaboration and leadership that take place each month.

A huge thank you to Liam from Connected Platforms for delivering an insightful and practical educational session on AI, giving our members plenty of ideas to take back into their businesses.

To top it all off, thank you to everyone who joined us for our EOFY Celebration at Bar Pacino! 🥂 It was the perfect way to celebrate the year that has been, reconnect, share a few laughs, and enjoy a fun-filled evening together.

Here’s to continued growth, stronger connections, and an exciting second half of the year! 🚀

Soph was proud to represent Thought Pilots Advisory Board at Friday’s Connection Central lunch, bringing together an incredible room of commercial and industrial leaders.

The quality of the conversations and connections made the afternoon truly worthwhile. A special mention to Caroline for facilitating and setting the tone with your vibrant energy.

Last month, some of our Thought Pilot Board Members had the privilege of being part of an incredible cause, attending the Charity Leadership Long Lunch hosted by Hoffman Kelly Accountants & Business Advisors at the Queensland Cricketers’​ Club in support of Michael Kerwin’s Vinnies CEO Sleepout fundraising efforts.

The theme was “Security - the basis of all success”. Which was made even more impactful by an admirable panel who shared their stories with such honesty and vulnerability - Tom Boyd, Vu Tran, and Denica Saunders.

A big thank you to Elisha Caffery from us at Thought Pilots Advisory Boards for the invitation to such a fantastic event.

We look forward to being involved in more meaningful events like this in the future 🚀

Friday’s Connection Central lunch was a genuinely great space to be in.

11 women in business having an open conversation. The kind of discussion that usually takes months to get to, but somehow happened around one table in a single lunch.
A few things that really stuck with me:
🚀 None of us are as alone in the challenges as we sometimes think
🚀 “Failing” in business is usually just learning and adjusting in real time
🚀 Different experiences and perspectives in business are worth talking about, not avoiding
🚀 A good laugh in the middle of it all goes a long way

As we wrap up the year, we want to sincerely thank our incredible members, chairs, accountants, guests, and educational speakers for the generosity, insight, and energy you’ve brought into our rooms throughout the year. The calibre of conversation and support across the boards is something we never take for granted.

From Luke, Aaron & myself we would like to wish you and your families a safe, relaxing Christmas and a well-earned break.
We look forward to reconvening in the new year, refreshed and ready for what’s ahead!
