It was an incredibly moving and inspirational morning this morning with our chapter charity member, Georgia Hocking, presenting for It's OK Not To Be Ok, a registered Australian Charity.
We were privileged to watch a screening of the origin story of It's OK Not To Be Ok, how a family tragedy, through the loss of their brother Ben, a son, father and friend of many on the Mornington Peninsula, was lost to su***de.
From this tragedy, three incredibly strong and determined sisters created It's OK Not To Be Ok, which has assisted many in recent years to combat mental health, depression and su***de. Georgia and her sisters have helped us find strength and love in one another, community, comfort through shared experiences and empowered our youth in schools and local clubs with appropriate education.
Our chapter has only the greatest of respect and appreciation for Georgia and her sisters, turning a personal family tragedy into a platform that directly helps save lives, showing us all that under the most extreme circumstances we can create kindness and hope for those struggling. And through Ben's legacy, generations of decency, understanding, respect, education and unconditional love for those around us who need it most.

We were a typical, ordinary Australian family, until we weren't.
