Our last Christmas order has arrived!
Please don’t wait to pop in as when I needed to place the order back in April I was hopeful Covid19 would be sorted by Christmas and I thought many people would be “going home for Christmas” so our order is less than half the size of last year.
There has been a bit of talk about why we are closing and although I don’t want to go into details I will say Qantas were our biggest customer and have not ordered a newspaper from us since March 2020. Virgin was our next biggest customer and they too haven’t ordered a newspaper from us since March 2020 and won’t ever again.
The reason the UK and Irish stock isn’t discounted like the rest of the shop is because we don’t make those kinds of margins on the stock. I liked to do it because it brought joy to so many people. My Father’s side of the family is English, so if it doesn’t sell, I may be the favourite niece this year.
