Similar to Carbonic Maceration, with a small change that makes a big difference in the cup. Think candied raspberry becoming fresh raspberry. Like turning on the lights: more clarity, a silky texture and elegance.

In 2009, Sasa Sestic tasted an Ethiopian coffee in Sydney with a blueberry aroma he couldn’t forget. When it ran out, he flew to Melbourne to find more.
 
Two years later, he travelled to Ethiopia to find its source.
 
That curiosity grew into years of collaboration with producers, exploring how processing could bring different flavours to the cup.
 
Our new In Sequence box invites you into that exploration.
 
Begin with the red berries and tropical fruit of Supernatural processing. Move through the strawberry and cherry of Carbonic Maceration, then the florals and blackcurrant of Nitrogen Maceration. Finish with the nectarine and honey of Koji.

Water should be a given. But for many communities around the world, it still isn’t.
 
That’s why we’ve partnered with Water for Good — to contribute our small part towards improving access to clean water, particularly in coffee-growing communities that make so much of what we do possible.
 
Each water point can support around 400 people every day.
 
Throughout October, there are a few simple ways to contribute with us.
 
Drink great coffee, stay hydrated with a Water for Good bottle, or get competitive over a game of Crops + Cups. With each eligible purchase, we’ll make a donation on your behalf.
