This is a job we did for a client in Glen Iris in conjunction with Laguna Landscape Designs . We set up some espalier wire systems against the fence to train plants across. This lovely return client had us back out recently to add some extra strands to support the growth of the garden 🙌

Spot the difference!
The team here at WGMD did a job in Garfield North, extending a retaining wall; only this time we went up. Because the 1 extra sleeper is not load bearing and is only holding back leaf litter in this garden bed, we were able to weld 200mm sections of gal posts on top of the existing wall.

The WGMD team recently finished a tiered garden area for a lovely customer in Bunyip. By adding in two small, curved walls it mirrored the design we did earlier on the other side of the stairs, creating space for a garden on the hill, and giving the yard a more level area at the top of the hill.

I know it's not our usual post but how absolutely adorable is this little boy bred by West Gippsland mini diggers own Daniel and his wife 💙

Our last little boy is looking for his own family to love and now that his brother has gone to his new loving home wed love the same for this little boy so we've decided take 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ off his price so he is now 2️⃣7️⃣0️⃣0️⃣

We are excited to announce that we have two beautiful boys available for EOI we encourage all our new family members to come and spend time with their new babies where possible before they head home at 9 weeks old

Sable/red boy lovingly nicknamed tim tam- Adventurous and outgoing our little Sable/red boy is more adventurous than his brother and can often be found exploring his surroundings and running around with the kids

Stairs all around! The team was recently called to Drouin to replace some timber edging and 3 sets of stairs that were rotting away in the garden and against the house. We left the pieces that were still decent and replaced what had rotted with treated pine sleepers.

Our team did a recent job in Nar Nar Goon; re-topping and expanding on an existing driveway. We took out approx 50 cube of soil, and brought in a few truckloads of base rock and LR20 as toppings. We also concreted in a grid drain in front of the shed and levelled an area by the house to help manage drainage in the yard.
After the customer lays a brick edging our team will be returning to touch up the edges of the driveway. It’s been a very exciting change!

We have been lucky enough to be a part of some big changes that have been happening at our local Garfield Community Gardens.
It was a fantastic challenge to create the wonderful mandala garden! Removing and mulching shrubs, digging down and levelling the area, setting steel edging, and bringing in rock for pathways and good soil for the garden beds. It’s almost unrecognisable!

As you’ve seen in our previous post, we’ve had a busy few weeks here in Mornington.
We’ve been carting in lots of materials for a whole backyard revamp; clearing weeds, lifting the soil level, spreading out pathway toppings, cutting and digging in lengths of railway sleepers for steps, carting in rocks, and building stairs from existing landing pads.
It’s been a satisfying few weeks of contract work for Laguna Landscape Designs, that has brought a remarkable change to the property. We’re just waiting on the shed slab before putting in the finishing touches
It will look amazing once planting and mulch is finished!

We haven't been able to complain about the backdrop on sight for the past two weeks! So far we have carted in 110m³ of soil, 10m³ of base rock and then toppings. Granite boulders in steep sections and railway sleepers for steps and working on retaining walls. Another week and a half to go here with plenty more material to bring in still, so keep your eyes out for the completion of our stage of this landscaping job! 🪏
