Different metals all have different market values. When scrap is mixed together, it often has to be graded as lower-value mixed metal because extra time and labour is required to separate it.

By sorting your scrap before bringing it in — separating copper, brass, aluminium, stainless steel, batteries and steel — each material can be weighed and priced individually at its correct value. 💰

For example:
🔸 Clean copper is worth far more than mixed metal
🔸 Separated brass and aluminium receive better rates
🔸 Clean loads are quicker and easier to process
