50 YEARS STRONG, BECAUSE OF THE PEOPLE BEHIND IT.

A milestone like 50 years might belong to a business, but it’s built by people.

Earlier this year, we had the opportunity to bring together generations of the Kennedys Group story, from our founder Allan Kennedy and long-standing members of our team, to the people helping shape the business today.

Our Half Century Celebration was a chance to share stories, reconnect with familiar faces and recognise the team, clients, suppliers and supporters who have been part of the journey.

As our 50th year continues, it feels fitting to revisit a night that captured exactly what this milestone represents.

Great people. Strong relationships. And plenty more to come.

HAPPY NATIONAL TRADIE DAY 🔧

Today we’re celebrating the tradies who keep things moving every day.

The people who turn up early, solve problems, take pride in their work and look out for the people beside them.

You might not always understand the lingo, but one thing’s for sure, we couldn’t do it without them.

We’re incredibly proud of the skilled tradespeople across Kennedys Group and the contribution they make to our projects, our clients and our communities.

To our team, and to tradies everywhere, thank you for everything you do.

CHECK IN. LISTEN. STAY CONNECTED. | R U OK? DAY 💬

This morning, our teams across the business came together for R U OK? Day, taking time to reflect on the importance of checking in with the people around us.

In our industry, conversations around mental health don’t always come easily, but asking a simple question can carry a lot of weight.

You don’t need to have all the answers. Sometimes, taking a few minutes to ask “R U OK?”, listen properly and keep the conversation going can make a real difference.

R U OK? Day is an important reminder, but checking in with our mates, colleagues, and loved ones shouldn't be limited to one day each year.

Keep the conversation going. 🗣️

A PURPOSE-BUILT PIPEWORK UPGRADE

Complex infrastructure upgrades depend on careful coordination, particularly when works require a shutdown within a live, high-activity facility.

For this cooling tower project, existing stainless steel pipework was replaced and upgraded, with serviceable valves and sensors were refurbished and reinstated. This practical approach supports smoother system operation and improvements to the client’s processes.

Leading Hand Jason Farry coordinated the on-site works, supported by Brandon Bailey, Ben Green and David Friend. Together, their work helped deliver more reliable systems and improved operational processes.

🎉 A very warm welcome to the HammerTech Community, Kennedys Group!

With four sites across Melbourne and Geelong, Kennedys Group offers an impressive range of specialist expertise to customers across Victoria. From head contracting, commercial and industrial plumbing, to asbestos and environmental services, to maintenance and facilities management.

And they’re continuing to grow.

To support that next chapter, Kennedys Group has selected HammerTech to strengthen contractor management, better connect internal and external teams, and give management faster access to the information they need.

HammerTech provides us with the tools to manage our internal and external teams efficiently and confidently, while providing immediate reporting to our management teams.” -Shannon Kennedy, Director.

We’re genuinely proud to work alongside a team that shares our commitment to strong safety practices, continuous improvement, and finding a better way forward.
