Highlight of today…….The oldest pastel manufacturer in the world. Only open from 14:00 to 18:00 on Thursdays. They only allow 5 people in at a time, the staff were amazing and friendly. 🇫🇷❤️ if you ever find yourself in Paris do yourself a favour and visit.

After a couple of months of learning, I’ve found myself going back and reworking earlier pieces with fresh eyes.

As I continue to explore composition, colour harmony and atmosphere, I’m also beginning to discover where my own artistic voice sits. I’m finding myself drawn to:
• atmosphere over intricate detail,
• muted, gentle light,
• expressive mark-making rather than tight realism.
