Today I had the incredible opportunity to speak at the webinar on volunteering, in the lead up to . It was such an amazing session and audience!

Geelong's Croatian Cultural Association () aims to preserve Croatian culture whilst simultaneously fundraising for various causes. They are such a genuinely beautiful group of people with such lovely intentions.

I was so happy to go along to their Easter cooking class to take some photos for them. What a lark - they thanked me for coming along but I felt like I was the privileged one.

They sell a gorgeous cookbook to raise funds to support their own - and others - activities. If you'd like to check it out, you can find it on their website. Well worth a look!

I'm very lucky to work alongside the passionate and welcoming community.

I'm constantly amazed at the diversity of culture within Croatia. For such a tiny space, it sure packs a punch! The food, the terrain, the clothing, the music, the dances... Not to mention the scenery!

Leaving behind preconceived notions and learning about the real Croatia has been very special.

Lado are a mission-driven organisation who strive to preserve and share Croatia's folklore traditions. Give them a follow and learn a bit about this incredible culture and the beautiful souls taking us on a cultural journey.
