About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated Appliance Service Technician to join our team. You’ll be responsible for the installation, servicing, and repair of home appliances both in the field and in our workshop. You’ll also assist fellow technicians when required, ensuring our customers receive reliable and professional service every time.
Responsibilities
• Install, service, and repair home appliances in the field and workshop
• Support other technicians on-site when needed
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
• Maintain accurate records of service and support activities
• Deliver excellent customer service with professionalism and confidence

Administrator / Trades Assistant Technician
Responsibilities:
A) Administrator:
Answering customer calls, entering jobs on serviceM8, coordinating technician workload, booking jobs with customers, liaise with core customers, Invoicing with Quick books completed work orders, updating work spread sheet, managing stock levels of parts, ordering parts and appliances and supplying quotations.
B) Trades Assistant Technician:
Installation of home appliances, maintenance and repair of appliances in field and workshop. Assisting other technicians in the field.

What We're Looking For
We are seeking someone willing to learn and grow within our company with some mechanical / practical and administration skills.

Ability to work autonomously and confident customer facing skills
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Maintain timely records of service and support activities.
Maintain professionalism when dealing with all customers.
Own vehicle required with expenses paid.

This is what your front loader washing machine seal looks like when you don't do hot washes and leave the door open after a wash to dry out. Mould develops. This customer might have just washed her clothes in a cement mixer as this seal was really bad and she still didn't want it changed!
