With a week to go until snake season (officially )starts.
Expect the unexpected.
Great time to get the flour lines down.

Using flour and two pieces of wood. Make a straight neat line for about 300 mm long within your shed door.
This will show any movements coming into your shed. When in doubt send me a photo and I should be able to see if it's a major concern or not.

Being in the field for 27 years I've come across so many in sheds, so this is the easiest suggestion you can do.

We charge a call out
$60 within Geelong
OR
$80 outside the Geelong area. Then if a snake is removed add $80 for removal & relocation.
We don't charge a
"hidden travel fee"

With snake season just over a week away, hopefully your property is cleaned up a little.
In the photo below is one of the best wood pile staking I've seen, it's of the ground that's the main thing.
Pallets ain't good if on the ground, due to the 3 base slates is where often snakes snuggle under.
In general I feel that leaving some things laying around isn't a bad thing, especially if you have pets, reason being that it gives a place for a snake to hide from a dog or cat attacking it, less chance of your pet getting tagged if snake cannt be reached.

Let's hope everyone will be safe this season, who knows if this season will have big numbers showing up or not.
My phone is never turned off this is for your convenience
