A fantastic morning at BNI Northern Stars! 🌟

Today we had the wonderful Kelly from Estate Conveyancing present to the group, and it was a truly eye-opening session. Kelly spoke about the benefits of title insurance and how easy it is for defects to go unnoticed on a property — something many people wouldn’t even think about!

What really surprised us was learning that Western Australia leads the country when it comes to unapproved structures on properties. So if you're selling a home, it’s not just about getting it settled — it’s definitely worth speaking to Kelly about title insurance as well.

Another fantastic morning with BNI Northern Stars! 🌟

Today we had Sonia from RSM present to the group, taking us through an entertaining and informative tax quiz that covered a range of topics — from the everyday to the unexpected. It was a fun and valuable session that had us all learning something new (and maybe even saving a bit on our next return!).

As for chapter activity:

We welcomed one visitor

A whole bunch of referrals were passed around the room 🙌

And so far this July, we’ve closed over $90,000 in business between members!
Touch wood, but if we can crack $100,000 by the end of the month, that’ll be a huge milestone for us! 💼💥

We're also on the lookout for new members to join our growing chapter. Right now, we’d especially love to welcome a beautician or hairdresser into the group.

It was fantastic to hear from Kelly at Estate Conveyancing this week, as she walked us through the ins and outs of buying and selling property. 🏡✍️ It’s amazing how easily people can fall into pitfalls just based on the way contracts are written.

If you know anyone looking to buy or sell a property, make sure they speak to Kelly first—you’ll be doing them a huge favour!

This morning we heard from David Hammer from Multicom Electrical and Security Systems, our chapter’s trusted expert in all things security. It was fantastic to learn more about the incredible work David and his team are doing in the community to help prevent and catch crime.

Very interesting insights—and amazing to see just how clear and advanced modern security cameras have become!

We also had a great week as a chapter:

One visitor joined us, which was fantastic to see.

Over $10,000 in business was passed between members (final figure still to come).

A bunch of one-to-one meetings were held, helping strengthen connections within the group.

Another great morning at BNI Geraldton!

Today we heard from Kris from Transwest Tyres, and it was a fantastic insight into the tyre industry. Kris shared the key differences between being an independent tyre supplier versus being part of a chain that's guided by head office targets.

It was refreshing to hear how Transwest Tyres has the freedom to choose the best tyre for each individual client—no pushy quotas, just honest, tailored service.
