✨ That’s a wrap… Luke Raymond Hair is officially CLOSED ✨

Wow… what a journey it’s been. I just want to take a moment to say a huge, heartfelt THANK YOU to every single client who has supported me over the last few years. Whether you’ve been with me from the beginning or just sat in my chair once, I’m so grateful for you. You’ve all been a part of something really special ❤️

A little update for you all:
Canice will be continuing her amazing work over at Chopping Block 4 Hair (rear of the same building!), and all of her clients can still book with her directly on 📞 0455 097 338

For my lovely ladies 🙋🏼‍♀️.... I can highly recommend both teams at Chopping Block 4 Hair and Piaf Hair Design (located in Northgate Centre). You’ll be in very good hands ✨

Luke Raymond Hair has been taken over by a barber and will be reopening soon with a seriously talented barber. I can’t wait for you to see what’s coming next… name announcement very soon!

How you travelling right now??

There has been so much going on we haven’t been posting… broken machine… cyclone…. Easter… those bumps in the road that challenge but usually make you stronger!!

We are still here and so are our gorgeous customers. These guys were travelling through when they got caught in the announcement of the cyclone,m. They are from London and wales over west from Sydney…. They parked up the van and tuckered up in a hotel…. Lucky though we had no cyclone just strong gero winds

We have some new artists just joined the studio, hand stitched jackets and mixed media artwork.

Showcasing Helen Ferguson whose techniques and pieces represent the native Australian bush with beautiful colour, pattern and texture.

Come connect and and view a variety of pieces for sale including a her series of Japanese influenced ink work.

Now in the studio opposite the cafe open most days until 3.30pm

Whats new in the studios…

Our latest emerging pop up artist Is On display and adorning our windows in the gallery downstairs with more works upstairs.

Gary from Geraldton has always been creative but has kept his work to himself until his wife asked him to paint a photo of a jetty at the Abrohlos, he says:

“There was something about that scene the calm water the weathered wood, the connection to home that reignited his love for painting”

Its resparked a passion to turn timber pallets Into beautiul artworks. Each carefully sanded varnished prepared and sealed so they can be hung up outside or Inside

What a fabulous idea.

The sunflowers are blooming outside and inside our gallery our gallery thanks to Angeline. Angeline is from geraldton and many know her as Angie. She has decide to sell her beautiful collection.

When working in geraldton as a picture framer over 15 years at Rob Bartley’s Picture Framing in stow Street, she collected works from local artists to create a feature wall.

The theme being her favourite flower… sunflowers.

The pieces in her collection vary in size and mediums. Each picture has a story, and they have truly been treasured by her.

As much as she has loved and enjoyed her sunflower art she is downsizing… and so wanting to pass on and sharing the joy.

Whole collection or individual pieces Now for sale downstairs in the laneway.

Come have a look and snap up your favourite. We love passing on the joy and brightness to new homes

Shout out to creators or artists wanting to join in during the Urban Art Trail the Laneway Studios have a couple of spaces available for hire. Great exposure through people visiting the art trail.
Studio Space 7B & 8C are available. $80 daily rate or $120 for four days 26-29 Sep. Otherwise they can put a table downstairs at $20 per day or $50 for the four days. To view or for more info contact Ersilia Tarantino at the Laneway Art Cafe & Inspiring Breaks Gallery.

We sowed a seed here at the laneway studios and it bloomed into a beautiful creation amongst artists…. Get ready for a fab weekend of art culture, events, talks, tours around urban studios and historical buildings being used in fab ways by artists.
