CUSTOMER ANNOUNCEMENT:

As you are aware I am an appointment-based business. This allows me to take the time to give a great haircut without rushing. I want to keep each customer happy.

But for quite some time I have had an increasing number of last-minute cancellations that leave a time slot open, leading to significant lost income. Other barbers who don’t make appointments are generally not affected by this as they will just take the next client in line.

I have resisted this decision for a long time but now feel compelled to introduce the following cancellation policy:

Appointments that are cancelled up to 2 hours prior to the appointment will require a full up-front payment for the cancelled appointment, prior to re-scheduling another booking. Payment is to be made via PayID/Direct Deposit. Re-bookings remain tentative until payment can be verified. Cancellations are requested to be made by phone call rather than text message.
