Taken from another cleaner!!

“Money must be nice.”

Meanwhile cleaners myself included are over here doing Olympic level squats with a vacuum, carrying an entire cleaning closet in one trip, and surviving off caffeine and pure disrespect for our lower backs. 😂 No, seriously

People love to talk about what cleaners charge, but never about what cleaners sacrifice.

The sore knees. The aching hands. The exhaustion after smiling through a 7 hour deep clean.
The days we work while tired, pregnant, sick, stressed, or emotionally drained because bills don’t pause.

This job pays us because it costs us physically. And every clean is earned the hard way. 🖤

You know what else would be nice? Cartilage in my knees. A back that doesn’t crack like glow sticks 😂

But at the end of the day, there’s something really rewarding about knowing your work helps people breathe easier, feel less stressed, and come home to peace 💃☺️
