is BACK!!

As the mornings get frostier and vintage wraps up down here in Tassie, we’re escaping the cold for a weekend of Pinot, fizz and some Brisbane warmth at Pinot Palooza X Mould 2026.

We will will be pouring crisp fizz, and a very special sneak peek of our unreleased 2025 Pinot — 🤫😉🤗

There’s something pretty exciting about pouring these wines in Brisbane — expect bright Tasmanian acidity, elegant structure and some excellent chats.

See y”all there 🙌🍷xx

Vintage is a very special time here at Meadowbank. There are many moving parts and a small handful of very critical ones… eg cinnamon scrolls (made by the one and only Cece). Happy team=amazing fruit=incredible wine 🍇🍷👩‍🍳

RIESLING

Mardi is smiling because the Riesling is BACK!

Riesling has been at Meadowbank from the beginning, nurtured by us since 1976. It has found a home here over that time, and in many respects we have found a friend. It is this legacy that the 2025 Meadowbank Riesling is built upon.

The wine itself reflects all of the charms, challenges and nuances of farming here at Meadowbank, and of course the deft hands of friend and winemaker Peter Dredge.

It is also a wine of seductive balance, where aromatics dance with texture, and acid is delightfully met with the lightest kiss of residual sugar.

There is a reason Mardi is smiling. The Riesling is BACK!

Available now at all good bookstores*

It takes a village…

Meadowbank has been run as a farm and vineyard by the Ellis family since 1976. We are proud of this history and stewardship, but know that it takes many hands to do what we do.

We have been, and remain, incredibly fortunate to have fantastic people here. While Meadowbank is not short of natural asset, it is the people and team that ultimately bring it all together.

Mark Langlands (pictured) is Meadowbank’s viticulturist, having started here in 2024. Hailing originally from New Zealand, Mark brings technical expertise and focus to our vineyard operations, with a perspective informed by education and experience in NZ, AUS, France and the US.

While Mark arrived at Meadowbank as a viticulturist, he also happens to have been a professional road cyclist in a past life too, and it explains why he can usually be found in one of three places - in the vineyard, on the bike, or at the coffee machine! Whichever it is though, it’s invariably with a smile and being done in a meticulous manner, and we are rapt to have Mark (and his fiancé, Emily) here at Meadowbank.

It takes a village.

Twenty or so kids, horses and ponies checking out the vineyard! Last week we had our annual local Pony Club camp at home. We swam, rode and swam some more. Full hearts and happy memories. The kids gave the vineyard a thumbs up as well! 😂⛺️☀️🏊‍♀️🐴
