🐀 FOUND SIGNS OF RODENTS? HERE’S WHAT NOT TO DO!

When you hear scratching in the walls or roof, find droppings or notice chew marks, it can be tempting to try and fix the problem straight away — but some quick fixes can actually make things harder.

❌ Don’t seal entry points too early – you could trap rodents inside the building.

❌ Don’t use baits or poisons incorrectly – incorrect placement can be ineffective and may create risks for pets and wildlife.

❌ Don’t ignore the warning signs – a small amount of activity can quickly turn into a much bigger problem.

The best approach is to first determine what you’re dealing with, where they’re travelling and how they’re getting in. 🔍

Our rodent services include an inspection, appropriate control measures and recommendations to help reduce future activity.

Noticed something suspicious at your place? Give our team a call. 😊

🌙🐀 IT’S 2AM… AND YOU HEAR SCRATCHING IN THE ROOF.

What’s your first move? 👀

A) Ignore it and hope it goes away 😴
B) Grab a torch and investigate yourself 🔦
C) Put out a trap or bait 🪤
D) Call in the pest professionals 📞

Drop your answer below before reading on! 👇

Noises in your roof or walls can be a sign of rodents, possums or other unwanted visitors, but working out exactly what’s making the noise is important before deciding how to deal with it.

Our technicians can inspect for signs of activity, identify potential entry points and recommend the appropriate next steps based on what they find.

And maybe leave the 2am roof investigation until daylight… 😂

🔍 THINGS PEST CONTROLLERS NOTICE THAT HOMEOWNERS DON’T…

Sometimes it’s the little things around your property that can make the biggest difference when it comes to pests! 🕷️🐀🐜

🌿 Vegetation touching the house
💧 Damp or moisture-prone areas
🪵 Timber and items stored against the home
🏠 Damaged or missing vents
🔎 Small gaps around pipes and cables

These areas can provide pests with shelter, moisture or an easy pathway into your home — and they’re often things you walk past every day without giving them a second thought!

👀 Challenge: Take a walk around the outside of your home today. How many of these can you spot?

Preventing pest problems isn’t only about treatment — identifying and reducing the conditions that encourage them can make a big difference too.

🐜 ANT TREATMENT IN ACTION! 👀

What you’re seeing here is ant activity after treatment with Stardust Pro.

Seeing ants still moving around immediately following treatment doesn’t mean the treatment hasn’t worked. Depending on the treatment used, ants may remain active while coming into contact with the product and carrying it through areas where the colony is active.

In fact, it’s quite normal to notice an increase in visible ant activity following treatment before things begin to settle down.

Ant infestations can extend well beyond the ants you see on the surface, which is why professional treatment is about targeting the activity and harbourage areas, not just spraying the ants you can see. 🐜
