JOB VACANCIES – MECHANIC & APPRENTICE MECHANIC

We are currently seeking a Qualified Trade Mechanic and an Apprentice to join our team based in Gnowangerup. We are a family orientated business and can offer flexible working hours and minimal weekend works. We offer opportunities to upskill along with competitive rates and benefits.
At Burston Mechanical we specialise in Transport & Logistics, Agricultural & Civil, Heavy & Light Vehicles, Field Services, Marine Repairs, Hydraulic Repairs & Servicing, Component Rebuilds and Automotive Air Conditioning.

Our Ideal Candidate:
• Must be reliable and have a strong desire to work in the mechanical industry
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• The ability to work independently or within a team
• Pro-active problem-solving skills
• Strong background in performing diagnostic checks preferable
• Drivers Licence – Manual preferred (HR or Forklift Licence is a bonus)
• A commitment to high-quality workmanship and reliability
• Excellent time management skills is a must
• Physically fit and able to pass pre-employment medicals – Including drug and alcohol

Main Duties & Responsibilities
• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on vehicles and machinery
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Maintain accurate records of services performed
• Ordering parts and equipment
