I was recently asked if I have always been a confident speaker. And this is what I said....



We were talking about my upcoming TEDx talk and she was curious about being more authentic sharing her message.

My response was that it has always felt natural.

Yet what I didn't realise is that it isn't always that way for others!



When I thought about what advise I would give to her to become a magnetic speaker - one of my tips was this:

Be more vulnerable.

This is more than vulnerable on stage or sharing on socials.

More than saying everything... it is an energetic openness... people remember how they feel when they are around you.

It is the vulnerability of starting a conversation and initial connection.

As a 4/6 Mani Gen in Human design - this is a natural gift for me to share how to create magnetic leadership by being more of you!

It is an honour to share this with you so you get to experience it too!



So..... I refined my event!

Do I like pink?
I got asked this today and my answer was clearly YES 💕🌷.
If you have known me for a while, you’ll know I love expressing myself with colour. My previous retail shop in Burleigh was PINK.
I believe aesthetics speak 1000 words and so does our energy and our willingness to be boldly ourselves.

I remember my step mum saying to me at about age 12 that one of the things she admired about me was that i don’t care what others thought. I was wearing a bright orange coat that I loved.

Yet the truth was I did care. I deeply cared.

I was teased as a kid for having a lisp and dressing with colour was an expression. So I disliked my voice until I presented my own National radio show for 2 years at age 19.
(It helps when you hear your voice in headphones for a few hours twice a week for a few years !)

I look at Tegan at age 12 and recognise that she desired to be included, have deeper connections while also expressing herself with confidence.

So this is why I deeply value embodying my unique expression. We get to love our inner critic and show her what’s possible by expressing our message and also showing future generations what’s possible by embracing all aspects of ourselves as women.
