I had the absolute privilege of attending and sponsoring the Gold Coast Womenโ€™s Health Network event at QT Surfers Paradise on Saturdayโ€ฆ and what a special morning it was. ๐ŸŒธ

From the moment I walked into the room, the energy felt different.

A collective of women (and a few brave men ๐Ÿ˜Š) coming together, not just to network, but to support a shared missionโ€ฆ that women deserve to be seen, heard, believed, supported and empowered.

A big thank you to Anjali, the founder and visionary behind GCWHN, for bringing this to life.

The panel was exceptional.
Dr Zane Sherif, Amanda Parker and Dr Elise Turner shared a wealth of knowledge, real experience and a clear vision for the future of health.

A future where health is PROACTIVE, not reactive.
Where people are treated as individuals, not just numbers.

One of the most touching moments of the morning was a powerful speech from Nicole Edwards Founder and CEO of from RizeUp Australia.

RizeUp supports families who have left domestic violence and are rebuilding their lives.

They recognised a critical gapโ€ฆ what happens after women leave.

Too often, they are left to start again without support and children are deeply impacted.

Their mission is to fill that gap with real, practical help to support a fresh start.

It was a powerful reminder of the importance of community and support beyond the moment of change.

It was also so special to be there with these wonderful women ๐Ÿค

And to the GCWHN volunteers and teamโ€ฆ thank you.
You are all exceptional.
Without you, spaces like this would not be possible. ๐Ÿ™โœจ

Being their mum will always be one of the greatest privileges of my life. โค๏ธ

Motherhood has stretched me, softened me, challenged me and strengthened me in ways I never could have imagined.

And one thing Iโ€™ve realised over the years is that motherhood never really stops evolving you.

You donโ€™t just raise childrenโ€ฆ
they shape and grow parts of you too.

In between every stage of motherhood, women are still building businesses, leading teams, supporting families, navigating relationships, carrying invisible mental loads, and somehow continuing to show up day after day.

I see it all around me.

Mothers dropping children at daycare before meetings.

Mothers navigating school struggles while trying to hold everything together.

Mothers supporting teenagers through change while quietly moving through their own changes too.

And what inspires me most is watching women eventually stop trying to fit into who they thought they had to be.

We stop shrinking ourselves.
Stop apologising for evolving.
And begin stepping more fully into ourselves.

Not limitation.
Expansion.

Not invisibility.
Authenticity.

So to all the incredible mothers out there leading, nurturing, building, evolving and absolutely smashing every season of life in their own wayโ€ฆ.

Happy Motherโ€™s Day ๐Ÿซถโœจ

If your weeks feel full but progress feels unclearโ€ฆ. this is worth a read. ๐Ÿ‘‰ https://amgcoaching.com.au/blogs

We had a conversation recently that stuck.

โ€œThings are goodโ€ฆ weโ€™re just trying to get through the week.โ€

Nothing dramatic.
Nothing broken.

Yet that sentence usually tells us a lot.

Because over time, โ€œgetting through the weekโ€ becomes how the business operates.

We wrote about it... what sits underneath that and why it starts to feel heavier even when things are working.

You canโ€™t pour from an empty cup.

And I know how easy it is to keep going anyway.

To keep showing up.
To keep holding it all together.

But we deserve moments like this.

To slow down.
To breathe.
To come back to ourselves.

This isnโ€™t selfish.
Itโ€™s necessary.

โ†’ Take this as your reminder to schedule it in.

Weekend plansโ€ฆ

And they donโ€™t involve doing more.

They look like thisโ€ฆ slowing down, being present, spending time with familyโ€ฆ and appreciating whatโ€™s right in front of me.

In business and life, itโ€™s easy to stay in constant motion.

Always thinking about the next thing.

But if we donโ€™t create space intentionally, it never appears.

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is plan the pause.

To reset.
To be present.
To actually enjoy what youโ€™re building.

We live in an incredible place, surrounded by so much to be grateful for.

Give yourself permission to step into it.

And if creating that kind of time and space feels hard right now, reach outโ€ฆ I can help you get there. โœจ

Growth doesnโ€™t usually stall because of strategy.
It stalls when identity doesnโ€™t evolve with the business.

Thereโ€™s a principle in behavioural psychology:
we donโ€™t rise to our goals, we fall to the level of our identity.

If thinking stays the same,
results tend to repeat.

The real shift happens when you start questioning how you think, not just what you do.

Thatโ€™s where things begin to move. ๐Ÿ™Œ

Flashback to February and the Women In Tourism (Gold Coast) Breakfast. โœจ

Held at the JW Marriott, it was a morning filled with connection, insight and genuine conversations.

AMG Business Performance was proud to support the event as a sponsor for a meaningful charity, and it was a privilege to be part of such a strong group of women across the tourism space.

The panel delivered what matters mostโ€ฆ real experiences, practical thinking, and honest reflections from women in the industry.

One of the highlights for me was meeting the winner of our 12 Weeks to Success Programโ€ฆ Iโ€™m looking forward to the journey ahead.

A great reminder of how powerful these industry communities are. ๐Ÿ™Œ

Itโ€™s funny how we say itโ€ฆ
โ€œI need a break.โ€

But how often do we actually listen when that feeling shows up?

I used to push through it.
Keep going.
Tell myself Iโ€™d slow down later.

Until I learned the hard wayโ€ฆ

When you ignore those early signs, it doesnโ€™t just go away.
It builds.

And eventually it shows up in ways you canโ€™t ignore.

In your energy.
Your health.
Your relationships.
Even in your work.

These days, I try to catch it earlier.

When something feels offโ€ฆ
When everything starts to feel heavier than it shouldโ€ฆ

I pause.

Even if itโ€™s just stepping outside, getting into nature, or taking a moment to reset.

Because Iโ€™ve realisedโ€ฆ rest isnโ€™t something you earn.

Itโ€™s something you need to sustain everything else.

Your body knows.

The real question isโ€ฆ do you listen when itโ€™s still a whisper?

Which part of this reel do you think was created using AI? ๐Ÿ‘€

Most people will pick the obvious figurine version.

But the reality isโ€ฆ both were.

This was created using tools like Sora and CapCut, and itโ€™s a great example of how quickly this space is evolving.

It can feel overwhelming.

But the takeaway from our recent workshop was simple:

You donโ€™t need to learn everything.
๐Ÿ‘‰ Just start with one thing.

Get familiar.
Be curious.
Have fun with it.

And if youโ€™re already exploring AIโ€ฆ youโ€™ll know how exciting it is right now.

The creativity.
The speed.
The possibilities.

AI isnโ€™t here to replace creativityโ€ฆ itโ€™s here to amplify it.

And for business owners and teams, thatโ€™s where the real opportunity is.
