Jo Rimal is an educator, mentor and wellbeing advocate and the founder of Awakened Pathways, a platform dedicated to helping people reconnect with purpose, wellbeing and meaningful growth. 

Through coaching, mentoring and purposeful travel, Awakened Pathways creates opportunities for individuals to pause, reflect, explore and discover new perspectives. Jo believes that meaningful transformation often begins when we create space to understand ourselves, connect with others and experience the world with greater awareness. 
Drawing on her extensive experience in education, mentoring, community engagement and cross-cultural experiences, Jo brings a compassionate, reflective and practical approach to supporting people on their personal and professional journeys. 
Through Awakened Pathways, her vision is to inspire people to live with greater purpose, travel with intention and grow with awareness.

Dr Laura Priestley – Zest Chiropractic founder and chiropractor.
Laura grew up in a family that took an interest in natural health, and she began seeing a chiropractor at the age of 8 – whenever her body wasn’t functioning at its peak, chiropractic care was the first line of defence to help her body heal itself naturally.

When she was 18, her father was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Rather than subject his body to surgery and harsh chemotherapy drugs, he travelled to Bali to learn more about leading a natural, healthy, low-toxicity lifestyle. His protocol included meditation, yoga, stress management and chiropractic care, and after incorporating these changes into his life, he has been cancer-free, healthier and happier than ever, for 12 years now.

Seeing the power of reducing stress while optimising nervous system health through chiropractic care inspired Laura to become a chiropractor herself so she could teach people to live their healthiest lives, long-term.

Our vision behind this Expo is simple but powerful: connection, education and community.

We are bringing local health and wellness practitioners, services and products together in one place — giving practitioners the opportunity to go beyond their professional titles, meet each other face-to-face, understand each other’s services and build genuine connections.

Because when our local practitioners connect and support one another, we can create stronger referral pathways, stronger businesses and ultimately better support for our community. 💛

For the public, this is an opportunity to discover what is available right here on the Gold Coast. Come and meet our amazing local practitioners, ask questions, explore different services and learn about possibilities you may not have known existed.
