Two questions.

Marcus Aurelius said this in Meditations:

"If it's not right, don't do it. If it's not true, don't say it."

You're sitting in a resource meeting. Budget's tight. Politics is messy.

Someone pitches an idea. Profitable? Yes. Politically safe? Absolutely.

But is it right?

Here's where leaders fold. They tell themselves the numbers justify the compromise.

Right or not right.
True or not true.

If your action fails either test, you're done.
