SPEAKER POST: Michael Ekert

Balance isn’t about doing less. It’s about having the energy to do what matters well.

A lot of people think balance means lowering expectations or slowing everything down. In reality, it’s about being more deliberate with where energy goes. Small shifts make a difference. Clearer conversations reduce unnecessary work. A pause between meetings resets attention. Shared priorities stop everything feeling urgent. When people feel more grounded, communication improves. They listen better. They respond instead of react. Work feels lighter, even when the workload stays the same.

The organisations that perform consistently aren’t the ones pushing harder all the time. They’re the ones helping people protect their energy so they can stay focused, present, and engaged over the long term.

Balance isn’t a luxury. It’s what allows teams to perform without burning out.

SPEAKER POST: Craig A Tulczyn

Here’s the uncomfortable truth many businesses avoid: Performance issues rarely begin at work. They start at home. In the mind. In the unspoken stuff. And they show up to work every single day. Ignoring it doesn’t protect the business. It quietly damages it. And nobody wins in the end. Awareness. Action. Resolution. That’s the line between decline and growth.

SPEAKER POST: Glenn Crowther-Wilkinson

One of the most underrated drivers of creativity and innovation isn’t a tool or technique. It’s time. In ClockWise™, we organise the innovation process like a clock—moving through defining, discovering, deciding, and delivering. But before you can move around the clock, everyone needs to be at the same ClockWise™ time—thinking in the same direction, at the same moment.

We call this “Spend Time Together.” It’s the discipline of aligning a team not just on what they’re doing, but when they’re doing it. Innovation derails when one person is generating ideas, another is evaluating them, and someone else is planning implementation. Same meeting, three different time zones.

Spending time together doesn’t require being in the same room. It requires being in the same ClockWise™ time—the same mindset, purpose, and stage. When a team agrees, “Right now we’re at 2 o’clock—Generate Ideas,” everything sharpens. Energy lifts. Work becomes smoother, faster, and more enjoyable.

When someone starts critiquing during brainstorming, a simple question—“What time is it?”—brings everyone back. Evaluation comes later, at 5 o’clock.

This discipline creates three outcomes:

Focus – everyone knows the goal of this moment
Momentum – the team moves forward together
Psychological safety – people contribute more freely

Innovation isn’t linear, but it is rhythmic. Teams that stay in sync—whether in person, hybrid, or remote—produce better ideas, make better decisions, and deliver stronger results.

Good things really do happen when we spend time together.

SPEAKER POST: Michael Ekert

Clear communication isn’t about saying more. It’s about making your thinking visible.

A lot of conversations sound clear in our own head. We know what we mean. We know the context. We know what “quick” or “urgent” or “sorted” looks like to us. The problem is, other people don’t live in our head.

When thinking stays internal, people fill in the gaps themselves. They interpret. They guess. They rely on past experience rather than present intent. That’s where things start to drift.

Making your thinking visible doesn’t require a new process or a long explanation. Sometimes it’s as simple as saying why something matters. Or checking how someone interpreted what you just said. Or slowing the conversation down for thirty seconds before locking in next steps. It feels small. But it changes how work flows. When people can see your thinking, they don’t need to guess. When they don’t need to guess, trust builds faster. And when trust is there, everything gets easier.

SPEAKER POST: Craig A Tulczyn

As kids, we don’t know how to express emotion. We just feel it… and try to survive it. There’s no manual for anger. No lessons on how to sit with sadness. So, we mirror what’s around us. Parents. Teachers. Adults. That becomes our baseline. And years later, we question our reactions. You’re not broken. You were never taught.
