I’ve just been planning out our week and when there’s something fun or exciting on my to do list, I put a 😀 next to it.

So many 😀😀😀😀 this week!!

Can’t wait for Sophie Hansen to roll into Goondiwindi on Friday.

I’m hosting her smartphone photography workshop at our house (the very same workshop everyone at the Jumbled Huddle raced about), followed by Supper Club (dinner with friends) on the deck.

Hopefully under the stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Saturday morning the kids are off to netball with Ed and I’ll be heading to Harry & Kit for the launch of Sophie’s new book. “What can I bring?”

Hot tip - You’ll love it. It’s brilliant.

I’m catering the events with some help and the menus will come straight out of Sophie’s cookbooks.

I’m a massive Annabelle Hickson fan. I mean, who isn’t.

I can still remember opening up one of my first Galah
magazines and catching myself simply enjoying the way Annabelle writes. Don’t get me wrong, the articles are unique and interesting, photography top notch and the concept of celebrating regional Australia is a passion I share with Annabelle.

While I’m an avid reader, there aren’t many times that I actually get lost in the way someone writes. Well, Annabelle is one of those writers.

I’m constantly amazed by the creativity and ingenuity of artists and business owners in regional areas.

There is really no limit to what you can achieve or create anymore.

I see all these amazing humans running amazing events and training in other regional area.

I want a piece of that for Goondiwindi. I want to inspire our local creators to keep creating. And what better inspiration then other regional artists and business founders.

At first I thought we could do this by hosting a big 2 day event, inspired by Huddle. You all know I’m a big fan.

When I got into though - there’s A LOT of work and A LOT of investment involved. More than this little entrepreneur wanted to take on.

So that’s what led me to realised we can achieve the same goal of bringing inspiring artists and business founders to Goondiwindi by having more frequent, more intimate events.

More fun. More one-on-one with our guest.

We kick off in early May with special guest at the Goondiwindi Show. Shortly followed by Sophie Hansen in mid-May.

It’s happening again! We’re going to The Huddle Orange 2024

Dust off the suitcase, throw in your jacket (hopefully won’t be as cold as last year when it snowed in May!) and let’s escape for 4 days of fun, laughter, networking and just a bloody good time.
