Recent progress from a standout project in Grafton for Boyd Builders.

This modern home features clean lines, bold architectural elements, and a smooth rendered finish. There’s still more to come with the feature entryway, but we’re proud of how this one is shaping up.

Internal rendering is something we get asked about a lot…. and it can make a huge difference in bathroom renovations 👌

For this job, we rendered over existing brickwork to create a smooth, level surface ready waterproofing & tiling.

Brickwork on its own often isn’t suitable for direct tiling, so applying render first ensures:
✔️ A flat, even finish
✔️ Better adhesion for tiles
✔️ A cleaner, more professional end result

This step is especially important in wet areas where quality and durability really matter.

Before & after (scroll to see the before) from a recent repair job 👌

This one was a bit different to your standard finish, we had to order in the closest product match, spend some extra time getting the texture and colour to blend in with the existing wall as best as possible.

We also reinforced the Hebel blockwork with fibreglass mesh to help strengthen the area and reduce the chance of cracking down the track.

Repairs like this can be tricky, but the goal is always to have it blend in so it doesn’t stand out.
