Thanks fo Fundere Foundry, Queen Victoria is now back on her plinth in Geelong. (We've also iinstalled more security including 24hr CCTV to hopefully keep the vandals at bay!)

Thanks to Fundere Foundry, Queen Victoria is now back on her plinth in Geelong. The restoration took a while but we hope the increased security and CCTV keep the vandals at bay.

The Geelong City Works crew have been hard at work getting the footings poured in preparation for the newly conserved bronze Cranes that will be returning to their home in the Geelong Botanic Gardens this week. Great work everyone!

Collection Care is working in the armoury at Bandiana to make a replica of a very special Mosin- Nagant sniper rifle. I'm expecting a perfect reproduction with all the wear and tear of the original when it's finished.

Collection Care is proud to have been tasked with the display, fitout and installation of the new Vera Deakin display at the Shrine of Remembrance. The diamond and ruby Rising Sun / Red Cross brooch is tiny but beautiful. (Displayed in the centre of the red cross that I made)

I've been working with the talented Noel Turner of Artfix Conservation on these Akio Makigawa sculptures and they look pretty good now.

It was an epic task to install these 100kg lenticular lightbox artworks of my friend Maree Clarke but thanks to Ellen, Vivian and David we got it done. Looks great Maree! Grand opening tonight at the new Melbourne City Library - 454 Queen St CBD.

It's so importantant to re-use where you can. This acrylic and MDF case (ex- major institution!) will be perfect for the upcoming architecture exhibition at Deakin Uni - Special Collection Library...and hopefully used again after this!
