Ever stopped to think that a headache might be telling you something more? 🤔

At our recent Brisbane Networking Group presentation, Kristen Savvakis from Brisbane Posture and Performance Chiropractic shared some fascinating insights into headaches, neck health and the importance of understanding what may be causing the pain.

One particularly interesting takeaway was the discussion around cervicogenic headaches - where pain can originate from the neck and surrounding structures before being felt in the head. Things like posture, prolonged sitting, neck tension and restricted movement can all be contributing factors.

The key message? Pay attention to your body. Where does the pain start? What movements aggravate it? How long has it been happening?

Thank you, Kristen, for sharing your knowledge and giving our BNG members some genuinely practical insights.

If persistent headaches or neck discomfort are affecting your day-to-day life, Brisbane Posture and Performance Chiropractic is well worth connecting with to discuss the right approach for you.

What does your team wear when they walk through a customer’s front door? 👀

A uniform isn’t just a uniform, it can be one of the simplest ways to build brand recognition, trust and professionalism every single day. 👕🧢

That was one of the key takeaways from Jenny Rains of Minuteman Press FV, who recently shared her expertise with BNG

Jenny took us behind the scenes of branded apparel and explained some of the different ways businesses can put their logo on clothing and promotional products:

✨ Heat-transfer vinyl – great for simpler, solid logos
✨ DTF (direct-to-film) – a faster option for detailed, full-colour designs
✨ Embroidery – a popular choice for hats and shirts
✨ Dye sublimation – permanently dyes the design into suitable polyester fabric

And the choice matters. The type of logo, garment, material and quantity can all influence which printing or decoration method works best.
We also loved hearing that businesses can either bring their own preferred workwear or source garments through suppliers such as AS Colour and Legend Life.
If your business needs branded workwear, custom apparel, promotional products or business printing, Jenny and the team at Minuteman Press Fortitude Valley can help you find the right solution. 🙌

📍 Brisbane businesses: give Jenny a call or drop into Minuteman Press Fortitude Valley to discuss your next branding project.

Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us, Jenny! 🤝

Your brand should be working for you - even when you’re not talking. 👕🚐

At Brisbane Networking Group, Jenny Rains from Minuteman Press Fortitude Valley showed us just how many ways businesses can turn everyday apparel and promotional products into powerful branding opportunities.

From uniforms, hats and beanies to branded workwear, the right branding helps customers recognise who you are before you even knock on the door.

Jenny also took us behind the scenes of apparel printing, explaining the differences between heat-transfer vinyl, DTF (direct-to-film), embroidery and dye sublimation, and why the best option depends on your logo, garment and how you plan to use it.

Need branded workwear, promotional printing or apparel for your business?

👉 Get in touch with Minuteman Press Fortitude Valley and talk to Jenny about the best option for your brand.

Thanks, Jenny, for sharing such practical insights with the BNG community!

Your home loan might be costing you more than it needs to. 👀

At our latest Brisbane Networking Group presentation, Fatima Ingles from MoneyQuest - Wellington Point shared some practical insights into what’s happening across the lending and property market.

A few takeaways that stood out:

🏠 Don’t assume your lender is giving you their best rate. With lending applications down, competition between lenders is increasing.

💰 Check your offset account. Recent reviews have highlighted cases where offset accounts weren’t correctly linked to loans.

📈 Rate rises can significantly reduce borrowing capacity. Even a 0.25% increase can make a meaningful difference, particularly for larger loans.

🔎 Review your strategy, not just your rate. Whether you're an investor, homeowner, downsizer or business owner, changing market conditions can create different opportunities.

Fatima’s key message? Don’t panic, review your position, ask questions and make sure your lending strategy still works for you.
If you’re looking at refinancing, investing, reviewing your home loan or understanding your borrowing capacity, get in touch with Fatima Ingles at Moneyquest Wellington Point.

A great reminder that the right conversation at the right time can potentially save you thousands. 🤝
