The Old Guildfordians Association Incorporated is the alumni body of Guildford Grammar School, Perth, Western Australia. The Association was founded in 1905, nine years after the School was founded. The Association now has a membership of over 4000, living all around the world. It has two seats on the School Council and offers assistance to the School through a variety of means. The Association also offers two scholarships and student travel bursaries to assist students. A committee of management is elected annually at the AGM under an incorporated constitution, and they govern all the activities of the Association.

There was plenty of excitement when Old Guildfordians Griffin Logue and Zac Fisher returned to Guildford Grammar to spend time with students, sharing lessons from their AFL careers and reflecting on their own school days.

From answering questions and sharing advice to joining in on training drills, their visit highlighted the strong connection many Old Guildfordians maintain with the School long after graduation and the impact they can have by giving back to the next generation.

Thank you to Griffin and Zac for taking the time to return to Guildford Grammar and share their experiences and advice with our students.

The Old Guildfordians Everyday Excellence Lunch brought together more than 40 alumni, staff and past parents for a thought-provoking discussion on the theme Compassion in Action.

Hosted by John Shaddick (Stirling 2002–2007), the panel featured Justin Miller (Woodbridge 1985–1986), Dr Jamie Chew (Henn’s 1995–1999) and Oscar Wharton (Prep/School 1999–2012). Through their personal and professional experiences, the panellists shared genuine reflections on the role of compassion in leadership, service and everyday life, highlighting values shaped during their time at Guildford.

A highlight of the event was the opportunity for Old Guildfordians from across generations to reconnect, share stories and strengthen community connections.

Thank you to our panellists, host and attendees for creating such a warm and collegial atmosphere. We look forward to welcoming more Old Guildfordians to future Everyday Excellence events.

Cecil Oliverson made the Guildford Grammar Chapel possible without ever stepping inside. Now it's your turn to carry it forward. Come together, build our future. Support our 2026 Annual Appeal.

More than 100 years ago, the Chapel of St Mary and St George was made possible through a remarkable act of philanthropy. Mr Oliverson never stepped inside it himself. He gave for those who would come after him.

Now your support of the Chapel Fund helps ensure the Chapel continues to be a place of welcome, comfort and connection for generations to come.

Support the 2026 Annual Appeal, Come together, build our future, and help safeguard the Chapel for the next generation of Guildfordians.
