The winding twists and turns of the mighty Murrumbidgee River, its the lifeblood of this inland country. Home to the Wiradjuri People for centuries, the plethora of game and plant life supported their position to the most numerous and formidable people of the land, from the Murray River, though the Murrumbidgee all the way to the Lachlan River. No doubt a direct result of the volume of food in this area and the plentiful water supply.

Clarke Gorge waterfall under the stars and nebulae of the Orion Constellation and some airglow on the left

Can get a bit hasty to post sometimes without letting it sit for a few days, went to the effort of making a pano but the sides of the image weren’t really adding much to the composition in hindsight so posting again 🫠

Used the starglow filter to bloat the stars & SAM to track the rotation of the earth from a nearby field and blended the images astronomically correct.
