The Brumby Project Where Australia's Brumbies Find Their Future The Brumby Project gives you the opportunity to attend Brumby breaking and handling clinics led by Anna Uhrig.

These clinics are held in central Queensland, central Australia and at TBP HQ in South-east Queensland and provide attendees with unique experiences and the chance to work with Australia's Brumbies. Attendees join a group of other like-minded horse enthusiasts and are guided through the steps of breaking in their own brumby which they will get to take home. Camping, horsemanship, new mates and plenty of bonus adventures await!

Brumby gelding day today! We gelded three wrangling to 2 year old c**ts and one mature stallion who put up a bit of a fight!

It’s a good time to give them an overall once over, dectamax and penicillin as well as a quick trim of their feet if needed. Jacinta also got some burrs out of the young fella which was nice 🤣

I tried out the Ba****ck Botanicals 🍃 Formerly Buzz Balms Hoof Beehave, fanciest brumby feet around now!

These guys will be feeling pretty sore and sorry for a few days. Lucerne and rest should do the trick.

Four filly yearlings (two in the last slide may be older and younger) available for rehoming now. Plus one mare. Photo to come of mare. All are unhandled.

You will need suitable trailer for transport and secure yards. Will grow into cracking horses. $200-$300 each. Need new homes asap! The yards are full.

In the meantime, we are busily drafting and transporting brumbies to TBP HQ for our September camp which starts next Thursday!

The ads below show the brumbies that will be for sale following this Sunday's 2026 Brumby Show. These brumbies have gone home with amazing humans and have had time and training invested in them. Details are on each ad and you will have the chance to meet them and talk to their owners if you make it out to the show.

The latest addition to our brumby family. Proud brumby grandma Elise and her brumby mare Maple (Nymboida 2026 camp) welcomed a cute little filly to the world this afternoon. Fittingly named Dolly, this gorgeous new addition is settling in well to life on land and her extended brumby family are very happy she’s here!
