Wise words and yet often unattained! We are currently working through an exciting application on behalf of our long time clients Eco Cottages. They have submitted an application for a low cost housing solution. Responding to the immediate crisis our area is currently facing, the proposal involves modular, locally built units to be provided to our local not-for-profits to supply the growing need for low cost, social housing. We just hope that Noosa Council are supportive and adaptive to work with us on a solution.

We are also working with well known local Rocky on his woodfired pizza "hub" in the heart of Cooroy at the old Daddows site. Rocky has provided activation of the street-frontage that engages the community and provides an area for socialising and congregation. Grand piano's in train carriages and all ... more in the works for this site so keep an eye on it and pop past for a pizza.

A great article today in the about one of our favourite hinterland towns - Kin Kin.
The iconic pub recently exchanged hands with David Ezrine and Mathew Flynn taking the reins in August last year. .. “We are looking to reinstate all those heritage features the pub has enjoyed for so many years.

“We are looking to put back the wood floors in the main pub and bring the rooms upstairs back to their original splendour.”

Renovations to the main pub are under way and, once open, its full menu will offer a chop house and grill, cooking over flame and serving up an exciting food offering.

David also has plans to open a wood-fired bakery in town and to expand and invest in other local food supply chains, including a herd of buffalo to create buffalo mozzarella and ice cream.

“We want to do it in a way that brings even more of a food program to Kin Kin,” he says.

“We are looking to invest in a lot of those local supply chains as part of our menu offering for the pub.”

Looking forward to our continued work in the revitalisation of Kin Kin with our clients

Site visit to a property in Cooloolabin. The land backs on to the western extents of the South Maroochy River - an incredible spot for a new dwelling. I hear that a cabin retreat might also be on horizon 🤞

Another little beauty in upper Mary Street, Gympie.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The Tozer building (right) was erected in 1896 for Hollace Tozar who was a mining solicitor in the area. His firm operated in the area from 1868 to 1962.

This building was designed by FGJ Stanley and erected in 1882. It was originally built for the Australian Joint Stock Bank and used for this purpose until 1893 when the banking collapse caused the cessation of its use. It was later used as the Gympie Stock Exchange until 1923 and then purchased by a local solicitor. Neilson, Stanton and Parkinson Solicitors purchased the building in 1976 and remain the owners of the building to date. They have done an amazing job maintaining the building along with Gympie’s architectural heritage.
