We’re taking a little pause on Good Friday, then back to it for a long weekend of good food, great wine, our signature experiences, and those beautiful Adelaide Hills views.
It’s been a little wet and foggy up here the past few days, but this morning the fog lifted and the sunshine is back!
And just like that, we’re back to enjoying those beautiful estate views… not a bad office, if you ask us! 🍇💛

On the menu: our current house favourite, the Estate lamb with stone fruit, kofta and baby cos. Delicious!
With just days to go until our first pick of 2026, the Lane team headed out into the vineyard for a final look at the fruit. Jared and Sam talked us through how things are shaping up ahead of vintage – and it’s looking (and tasting!) great out there.
Now we wait for those first grapes to arrive at the winery… not long now!

Stringatta beef tartare with bone marrow aioli, Tommy Ruff escabeche and burrata, served with fermented apricot vinaigrette – all sampled (and very much approved) by our team… so yum!

The Lane Vineyard has been the custodian of an enviable piece of pristine Adelaide Hills terroir since being planted in 1993. Sitting 400m high atop the rolling hills adjacent the Onkaparinga Valley, the vineyards enjoy the warm days and cool nights that the Adelaide Hills Wine Region is so famous for.
In addition to the vineyards and wines, the Lane estate is home to an acclaimed contemporary restaurant and tasting room where, just 3 kilometres from the historic village of Hahndorf and a scenic 25-minute drive from Adelaide CBD, visitors quickly feel a world away.
Amongst the four distinct tiers of wine produced – Heritage, Estate, Provenance and Lane series, it is new Provenance range that perhaps best articulate the overall food and wine philosophy of the Lane;
