Specialists in providing Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) services and applications to the extractive industry, both on and off shore. GUS provides a cost effective, safe, rapidly deployable and higher resolution alternative to conventional satellite and manned aviation systems. GUS are UAV operators, integrators, consultants and ultimately data providers. We tailor UAVs to meet specific requirements

We believe in selecting the appropriate tools for the job and are focused on the best application of appropriate technology, stemming from an understanding of the technical capabilities of UAVs and the processing and scientific analysis of the data. Based on prior experience, GUS is strongly focused on base line data acquisition and ongoing monitoring requirements associated with environmental and social impact assessments associated with major infrastructure development projects in the extractive industries. GUS also specialise in orthophoto and digital elevation model acquisition for the mining and exploration industries.

Tonight's the night! After months of planning and rehearsing, it's finally showtime!

To say that we're excited is an understatement... The first of our Stellar Lights drone shows for Fremantle Biennale launches tonight.

CROSSING21 festival's headline act "MOOMBAKI" (where the river meets the sky) will light up Derbarl Yerrigan (Swan River) between the bridges in Fremantle. Ready for take-off at 8pm.

Three consecutive nights this weekend: Friday 5th, Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th of November.

Follow Stellar Lights for all of the details of our upcoming shows at Dyoondalup (Attadale Reserve) and Derbarl Nara (Coogee Beach) over the coming weeks.

Only one more sleep to go! GUS and Stellar Lights are super excited to finally show audiences what we've been working on for months together with artist Ilona McGuire and the team from Fremantle Biennale.

Meet Rob! Robert Lednor co-founded Global Unmanned Systems (GUS) back in 2012 and the company has been at the forefront of drone technology ever since. With nearly a decade of operational experience, GUS has been working hard to bring drone light shows to Australia. Our new venture is called Stellar Lights and we are launching our first shows for Fremantle Biennale on the 5th of November.
