The Chamber advises members and the wider business community that, at its recent Annual General Meeting (AGM), no nominations were received for the Chamber’s executive positions.
As a result, the Chamber was unable to form a full executive committee at the AGM.
A further 28-day period will now be provided for members to consider nominating for the available executive positions. Members who are interested in helping guide the Chamber and supporting local businesses are encouraged to put their hand up.
The Chamber plays an important role in representing local businesses, providing opportunities for connection and collaboration, and supporting the future growth of the local business community. Having an active committee is essential to continuing this work.
We are calling on members to step forward and help shape the future of the Chamber.

The future of the Chamber depends on the involvement and commitment of its members. We encourage members to consider how they can contribute and help ensure the Chamber continues to serve the local business community.

Officers from Victoria Police will be on hand Friday 14 August between 9:00am - 11:00am at the Coffee Treat in the Hub to talk to residents in a relaxed and informal setting.

Pop down, have a coffee or hot drink with an Officer to ask your questions, discuss local issues and learn more about regional policing and support services.

Victoria Police attending on the day will include General Duties officers alongside a range of specialist liaison representatives including general duties police officers, LGBTIQ+ liaison officers, disability liaison officers, mental health liaison officers, police Aboriginal liaison officers.

All community members are welcome to attend so pop in and say hello.
