Hey Everyone,
As many of you know our little bundle arrived last year and over the past 7+ months I've been doing alot of thinking about what will happen with Flour Cloud Sweets.
Firstly I love baking and being creative. It brings me much joy, but decisions had to be made.
With council fee's increasing (almost double), The cost of living and groceries going up - I wouldn't be making the sales I would need to make a profit. Most years I don't make any profit because it's more a hobby and love of baking than a business. But being food I wanted to keep it legal.
Also becoming a mumma has completely shifted my focus and time. I love being able to spend my time with my bub, making memories.
So I'm closing up to taking orders. Will I still be baking... Yes!! You will see Cakes and other creations on my page - but they are for family and friends, not general public.
I have loved being a part of peoples celebrations, it's the best part. I can highly recommend if you're local and looking for a cake artist.

Let's talk cake.....
How many events do you have where you want the cake drama?! But in reality there aren't that many guests and having that much cake will go to waste. So you get something smaller.
What if I told you that's exactly what happened with this cake! But there is a compromise, only the top tier is cake!
The rest is dummy cake (foam), decorated to match seamlessly, give you the drama for photos, and to make guests say wow without having leftover cake.
There are so many options when it comes to getting "THAT LOOK" for your event. Speak to your Baker and find what works.
