Gabion wall in Kurrajong 😍

This corner block front yard was abit steep and too hard to maintain for the new owners. (See before photo)

So we built a gabion retaining wall, taking the steepness out, giving them a flat lawn up the top and easy to maintain garden
👍 the gabion and existing sandstone logs now blend together, and the inspection pit even got a cute little wall 😍

We stepped back in time to do some common brick paving outside some of the shops at the Australian Pioneer Village Wilberforce
They have done lots of work after the floods and it is looking great down there.

Been abit slack with posting.... but we have a goodie!
Shed transformation in Kurrajong.

With some help from Nick Annalisa Mahboub Building, we stripped this old shed down to its bones and spun and raised the rafters.
Extended the back of the shed to house the chicken and pets and resheeted the sides and roof.

We then laid a gentle curve wall using 2m sandstone logs to retain the cut and a staircase to enter the paddock.

The sides and front of the shed are Gosford Quarries The Sandstone People Since 1922 sandstone hydrosplit venner blocks, rockfaced and laid in a random pattern with rendered beams above the doors

It has been a busy year for Neal Duffy Stonemason with Amanda's accident and Neal having to do all the work himself... he found out how mush she actually does ;)
We are very lucky though to have worked for some awesome clients on some great projects.

Finally got the caps on at bells line of road 🙌 🍻 🥳 to the entrance to the Norton Homes & Developments Pty Ltd home.
Nearly 1m square these huge pyramid caps from Gosford Quarries The Sandstone People Since 1922 went on super slick with Ben from Rippa earthmoving at the digger controls.
Setting off the stonework is the amazing gates from gates

Neal hasn't built a wall in basalt since he left ireland 10yrs ago... we think he did alright with this Oberon Quarry basalt.
All dry joins with mortar to back fill and cap the wall to make it safe.

Highway to hell... to Stairway to heaven 😍

The steepest block on Sherwood st in Kurrajong now has a new staircase making access to the block 100 times easier.

Thanks to Tony at for the beautiful stone setting off the golden granite.

We have been busy in Richmond landscaping a outdoor seating area for a new restaurant!

Complete with Gabion water feature with hand bent copper spout,
gabion raised garden beds which have been planted with loads of different veggies,
Fruit tree garden in the carpark with sandstone logs border,
Firepit with sawn border and sparrow (convict) picked blocks,
And a rosey seat for Janet 🌹
All finished off with recycled brick paving 👌👌

Firepit finished up at Lochiel House 🔥
All the blocks were sparrow (convict) picked to fit in with the 100yr heritage space.
It Didn't take the chef long to find it and get cooking a BBQ 🥩🍖

Our big job in Pattersons lane is starting to all come together.
1metre sandstone logs laid by us and Brad Shephard earthmoving curving around the driveway up to the shed.

Amanda and I have laid 100's of metres of silver taravitine and granite cobblestones... Loving the cobblestone circle in front of the house.
Garden beds were rough square blocks in buff colour.
Sambell Concrete Solutions did a great job of the driveway butting into my cobblestones.
