The Opportunity
DEC Workforce is looking for skilled, driven individuals to join our team supporting our customer on the P-8A Poseidon program at RAAF Base Edinburgh.
As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), you'll be hands on with maintenance, modifications, servicing, inspections, testing and fault finding on aircraft systems. You will:
• Collaborating with the MRO team to ensure efficient task completion,
• Ensuring compliance within the DASR Part 145 Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) regulations.
• Fostering effective communication and coordination with Boeing, customers, and industry teams
• Ensuring Quality Assurance (QA) procedures, aircraft maintenance/modification operating procedures, and meticulous documentation practices.
• Embrace a positive attitude towards Environmental Health & Safety, prioritizing the well-being of all personnel.
As an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will have:
• Certificate IV in Aeroskills or equivalent (Avionics)
• Be able to meet Defence security requirements (Australian Citizens only)
• Meet the security requirements of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
• Hold a current driver's licence.
Desirable
• Previous experience working with Military aircraft.
• Hold a Baseline or NV1 security clearance
