Another clean battery install completed ⚡️🔋

More homeowners are choosing battery storage to take greater control of their solar, store excess energy for later and reduce how much power they need to pull from the grid.

This one came up beautifully — neat, practical and ready to get to work. ☀️

If you’ve already got solar and are thinking about adding a battery, or you’re planning a complete solar + battery system, we can help you work out the right setup for your home and usage.

Thinking about adding a battery to your solar system? Here’s something a lot of homeowners don’t realise 👇

A solar battery isn’t just about storing “free power” for later.

A properly designed solar + battery system should take into account:

• how much electricity your home actually uses
• when you use the most power
• the size of your existing solar system
• how much excess solar you export during the day
• whether you want backup power during an outage
• which circuits you actually want backed up
• the battery’s usable capacity and output
• future additions like an EV charger, pool or extra air-conditioning

Bigger isn’t always better.

Installing a battery that is too large for your solar production or household usage can mean you’re paying for capacity you rarely use. On the other hand, a battery that is too small may not provide enough stored energy to get you through your evening usage.

The goal should be to design a system around your home and your usage, not simply install the biggest battery available.

Modern systems from brands such as Sigenergy, Sungrow and GoodWe can also provide advanced energy monitoring, smart charging and backup options depending on how the system is configured.

If you’re considering a battery, we recommend having your current electricity usage and solar production reviewed first so you know exactly what you’re paying for.
