đź“‹ Quick one for the water managers out there: is your licence renewal on your radar, or still living rent-free in the "I'll get to it" pile?
DWER processing times don't shrink because you left it late, and a lapsed licence is a headache nobody needs mid-season. If your renewal is due in the next few months, now's the time to get documentation together — usage records, meter data, the works.
Need a hand getting your renewal paperwork in order? That's exactly what we're here for – call us to discuss your water requirements.

🗂️ A licence isn't "set and forget" — it comes with ongoing compliance obligations, and water managers are usually the ones left holding the paperwork when DWER comes knocking.
Meter readings, usage reporting, licence conditions, annual returns — falling behind on any one of these can turn a routine compliance check into a genuinely stressful week.
Solid record-keeping now is the cheapest insurance you'll ever buy. If your compliance documentation needs a health check, we're happy to take a look.

💧 Water Trading Pricing Update — Swan Region
Allocation prices move with the season, the sub-area, and the aquifer you're drawing from - which is exactly why we track them closely for our clients rather than relying on last quarter's number.
Right now across the Swan area we're seeing a real spread: Swan Confined, Leederville is as expected sitting well above the Superficial resources. This is a reminder that not all allocation is priced equal, even within the same catchment.
If you're a water manager weighing up buying, selling or holding allocation, knowing the state of your water resource makes all the difference to the number you should expect.

📊 Metering isn't just a box-ticking exercise — it's the data that backs up your licence, your usage claims, and (eventually) your trading position.
For water managers, a non-compliant or faulty meter isn't just a compliance issue and risk of losing your water licence, it's a blind spot in exactly the information you need to make good allocation decisions.
Meters are required to have readings recorded monthly and reported to DWER annually – generally, at End of Financial Year, though each licence Water Year is defined for the licence itself. We offer a compliance plan that keeps you informed, compliant and lets you make decisions about your water usage ahead of time. ✨
If it's been a while since your meters were checked, calibrated or upgraded, that's a conversation well worth having before your next reporting period lands.

In these situations, trading is often the only pathway to increase your water allocation. Securing water through the right channels can help ensure your future operational needs.
