Fraser Coast short film "The Forgotten Horses of Fraser (K'gari)" by Pluggas Studio production is to screen at three regional venues across the Fraser Coast in October and November. The short film celebrates the remarkable history of Fraser Island's remount horses and is an initiative of the 5th Light Horse Regiment Hervey Bay Troop, narrated from the perspective of a horse who went to war.

𝗙𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗿𝘀: 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸
Round 2 of the Transforming Queensland Manufacturing Grants Program is now open, with $12.5 million available and grants of up to $1.5 million in matched funding.

Importantly for local manufacturers, at least half of the funding is allocated to regional Queensland, and the Fraser Coast falls within the program’s regional definition.

The program supports significant projects that improve productivity and competitiveness through advanced manufacturing, technology and innovation.

If you have an equipment, technology or expansion investment on the horizon, it’s worth checking the eligibility criteria early.
