Position Available: Sales Representative
Fraser Coast Cleaning Supplies is a locally owned and operated business that has proudly serviced the Hervey Bay region for over 30 years. Earlier this year, we expanded our operations with the opening of our second store, Fraser Coast Hospitality Supplies, allowing us to offer an even broader range of products and services to our local community and business customers.
We distribute high-quality hospitality and cleaning products throughout the Fraser Coast and pride ourselves on delivering outstanding customer service and support. Our customers span a wide range of industries including cafés and restaurants, health and aged care, residential and commercial cleaning, Airbnbs, early learning centres, clubs, pubs and hotels, accommodation venues, disability services, sporting clubs, schools and more.
Due to continued business growth, we are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Sales Representative to join our team in this newly created role.
Reporting directly to the Business Owner, this position will focus on meeting agreed sales targets while providing exceptional service and support to both new and existing customers. You will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, managing accounts and supporting the overall sales function of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively contact prospective customers and secure on-site or in-store product presentations
Attend customer sites to present products and systems
Prepare professional and accurate quotes
Deliver a consistently high level of customer service
Generate new business while maintaining and growing existing accounts
Assist customers in the showroom as required
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
Experience in the hospitality and/or cleaning supplies industry (advantageous but not essential)
Experience in a sales representative or customer-focused sales role (advantageous but not essential)
Excellent communication skills – you must be confident and well spoken
Strong networking ability and a talent for building long-term business relationships
Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
A self-motivated and enthusiastic approach to work
A current and valid driver’s licence and a well-maintained vehicle
Intermediate computer skills
