🟥 WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO START AGAIN FROM SCRATCH IN AUSTRALIA AND BUILD A BUSINESS IN HOBART?
What does it mean to come to Australia after war has taken away the life you spent years building in your own country?
It means arriving with your family and two backpacks — without an established business, equipment, customers, connections or a recognised name.
It means starting a new life in another country, with a different language, different rules and a different culture. Starting in a place where other people and companies have spent decades building their businesses, reputations and community trust.
But we did not give up.
I brought with me knowledge and experience that I had gained over many years — through hard work, learning, personal decisions, mistakes and challenges I had overcome.
Ukraine was where my character was formed and where this journey began. Australia gave our family safety and an opportunity to move forward again. Hobart became the place where we started building Oleh Service Group.
I now want to use everything I have learned here in Australia to bring genuine value to people, help protect their properties and demonstrate results through actions, not just words.
From the beginning, we did not want to create another company that simply arrives, completes a job and leaves.
We began developing a property care system in which owners can understand the real condition of their homes and surrounding areas. A system that provides more than completed work — it provides results, responsibility and control.
We show photos and videos. We show before-and-after results. We explain what was completed, what problems we found and what the property owner may need to consider next.
We do not simply ask people to believe our words — we support our work with visible results.
However, building this business has been far more difficult than we could have imagined.
We have faced more than the usual challenges of starting a new business, competing in the market and earning people’s trust.
Our trailers have been stolen, damaged and spray-painted. Wheels have been stolen from them. Locks, cables, wiring and work equipment have been damaged. Rubbish and dog waste have repeatedly been left around our trailers.
We have received phone calls involving threats and abusive language. Gossip, false claims and damaging information have been spread about us. There have also been occasions when we completed work but were not paid for it.
This is not one isolated incident, and it is not only a story about trailers, wheels or equipment. It is a series of obstacles we have faced while continuing to work every day, help people and build our business.
A few days ago, property belonging to Oleh Service Group was damaged again. That is why we finally decided to share our story openly.
We are not writing this to seek sympathy. We are not looking for conflict, and we are not accusing anyone without evidence.
We want people to understand what truly stands behind our business, vehicles, trailers, equipment, photos, videos and every result we show.
Behind it all are years of knowledge, daily hard work, responsibility to our customers and a determination to build a new life after war took away the life we had before.
We would also like to speak calmly to those who spend their time and energy trying to damage the work of others.
If you have that much time and energy, direct it towards your own business, your work, your family, your children or something that benefits our community.
Build something of your own instead of trying to destroy what other people are working so hard to create.
When we create, our families and the whole community benefit. Nobody benefits from destruction.
We understand that not everyone will support us or welcome our progress. But we will not allow insults, threats, gossip, theft or property damage to make us abandon what we are building.
Our response is not revenge or conflict.
Our response is to work even harder. To remain open. To show genuine results. To continue developing our system and helping people protect the properties in which they have invested years of work and a significant part of their lives.
We want to bring more than another service to Hobart. We want to transform our accumulated knowledge into a system that provides real value to people here in Australia.
Today, Oleh Service Group continues to work, develop and prove its value through results, not promises.
We are sincerely grateful to the people of Hobart, Kingston and the surrounding suburbs who trust us, support us, recommend our work and recognise how much effort we put into every property.

This story is not only about obstacles.
It is about not losing faith in life. It is about starting again in another country. It is about getting back up after every setback and continuing to build.
And if any young people are reading this, I want to tell you: do not give up, even when it feels as though everything has been lost and you must start again from zero.
Keep learning, keep working, fight for your future and continue moving forward. Do not be afraid of mistakes or obstacles — they also shape your experience.
Believe in yourself, create something valuable for others, and you can succeed.
