The scary part? These scams no longer look like scams. The LinkedIn profiles are convincing. The emails use the names of major recruitment firms (just not their real email domains). The callers claim to be local.

The resume critique is designed to undermine your confidence in your document — so you'll pay to have it "fixed" by a service that either doesn't exist or takes your money and vanishes.
