We are proud to have been a part of the development of the National Assistance Card Application backend website. Congratulations to Deborah and everybody at Brain Injury Association of Tasmania.

The Brain Injury Association of Tasmania launched its National Assistance Card, which will help people with brain injuries communicate the impacts of their disability.

It lists a person’s key information, the difficulties related to their brain injury, ways they can be assisted, and a nominated person’s contact details. An optional QR code will also link to a personalised video of the person explaining the impacts of their brain injury.

The card is currently available to all Australians living with brain injuries.

Baby offspring of monster pot plant: A plant is like a business - This is actually my own plant, a giant spathiphyllum, that I have had in the office for about 14 years.

Why like a business –
(1) You make sure you satisfy the essential day to day and week to week requirements (happy customers, finished work and cashflow)

(2) Once or twice a year you give it some additional fertiliser (new marketing)

(3) Every couple of years you pot it up into a bigger pot (capacity to deliver)

Conclusion: If you do this, then growth to massive size and self propagation are the outcome.

But it’s all lost if you don’t attend to number (1) - (happy customers, finished work and cashflow).

This staircase is a symbol of my 2021 challenge. The staircase, which is an actual part of our office building “Westella”, seems to disappear into the ceiling. It represents risk, because you can’t tell what’s up there, although there is a hint that you might touch the sky, or have a view of the entire world …

Business Software Tasmania is now an official Xero Partner.

Although we have been working with and advising on Xero for years, it has only been since we were registered as a BAS agent earlier this year that we could apply to be an official Xero partner.

We were first a software company, and have unique skills for the integration of systems, including Xero API. This means we can get reports and KPIs out of your data, that you might not be able to get any other way.

We offer affordable helpline and implementations of Xero and other software.

Contact us if you need this help.
