FROM THE PIT TO THE PALACE — THE STORY OF JOSEPH 🌾

Joseph’s story is one of the most powerful examples of God’s faithfulness in the Bible. He was the beloved son of Jacob, given a special coat by his father. But because of jealousy, his own brothers betrayed him, threw him into a pit, and sold him as a slave.

Joseph faced many trials. He was falsely accused, imprisoned, forgotten, and treated unfairly. Yet through every season, God was with him.

What the enemy meant for evil, God turned for good.

In God’s perfect timing, Joseph was lifted from prison to become the governor of Egypt, second only to Pharaoh. Through his wisdom and obedience, countless lives were saved during a great famine—including the very brothers who had betrayed him.

Joseph’s life reminds us that our setbacks are not the end of our story. The pit, the prison, the pain, and the waiting season may all be part of God’s preparation for a greater purpose.

If you feel forgotten today, remember Joseph. God sees your tears, hears your prayers, and is working behind the scenes even when you cannot see it.

Lesson: Stay faithful in every season. God’s plan is greater than the betrayal, greater than the delay, and greater than the struggle.

Marami ang nagtatanong sa akin:

Bilang isang busy mom, wife, at full-time worker, hinahanap ko rin noon ang paraan para magkaroon ng extra income habang patuloy na inaalagaan ang aking pamilya.

Hindi ko sinasabing madali ito, pero natutunan ko ang mga bagong skills sa online marketing, personal growth, at kung paano gamitin ang social media para makakonekta sa mga taong may kaparehong pangarap.

Reading the Gospel of John feels so different and personal to me. Especially in the beginning chapters, the way John describes Jesus touches my heart deeply. You can truly feel his love, faith, and closeness to Jesus in every word he wrote.

John didn’t only describe Jesus as a teacher or prophet, but as the Word, the Light, and the Son of God who came to give life to the world. While reading John 1–28, I felt peace in my heart and soul, and it reminded me that Jesus is not far from us — He is full of love, grace, truth, and compassion.

I love how John shared not just miracles, but the heart of Jesus. The more I read his Gospel, the more I understand how precious our relationship with God is. It encourages me to trust Jesus more, follow Him faithfully, and live with love and purpose every day.

No wonder John was called the beloved disciple — you can feel his sincere love for Jesus through every chapter. And somehow, while reading it, you also begin to fall more in love with Jesus too. 🤍🙏
