The cornerstone of our business is our focus on responding to individual requirements. To be able to do this in an environmentally responsible way is something we are very proud of. Plane Tree Studio began in Salamanca Place in February 1986. Since then we have employed Tasmanians to create fine quality paper products. We moved to 107 Murray Street, Hobart in 1998. Here we have built a modern pape

rmill for the making of fine quality, environmentally sound, handmade paper and a boutique print shop which uses traditional methods to print on traditional papers. We have a range of imported papers and envelopes which are not handmade but equally beautiful and suitable for your important message.

Position Vacant

Plane tree Studio is an artisan Studio which produces 100% recycled paper made by hand and adds to the value of that paper by producing hand printed cards, invitations and stationery for sale.

We recently moved to 245 Elizabeth Street and established a modern papermill and printery with a small retail space.
After operating for almost 40 years we are embedded in community and right now we are looking for an energetic person to join our team in the papermaking space.

This person needs to have:
• an interest in small business
• an interest in learning papermaking
• a passion for quality production
• communication and people skills to inspire teamwork
• An interest in supporting vulnerable Tasmanians with a disability to be the best that they can be
• There are no age or gender restrictions
All necessary training will be provided on site.
