🚙 Today we had this Nissan NP300 in with the usual Christmas tree of lights 🎄 on the dash caused by a faulty DPF.

🔧 Once the faults were rectified it was straight onto the dyno 📊 to give it a proper tow tune where these really come alive.

⚠️ Due to the vehicle having very high kilometres we did not lean on this one hard, instead focusing on reliability, drivability and safe towing performance.

🔧 Today we had Ben’s older Mazda BT50 in for an exhaust upgrade and custom tune.

👀 As soon as it hit the dyno we heard a noise that was all too familiar for us. Quick inspection and sure enough we found a pin hole in the hot side intercooler hose. 🥵

New hose fitted and then it was time to give this BT50 the tune up it was well overdue for 💪

🔥🚤 Tohatsu 115 Outboard Tuning Now Available 🚤🔥

Due to the interest we received around Tohatsu outboards, we decided to do it the way we always do. When we don’t have access to an engine, we simply buy our own and develop it properly in house.

With a busy workshop this project took some time, but we can now confidently release a safe and reliable tune that runs on 95 octane fuel and delivers proven results on the dyno.

This is our first Tohatsu engine tuned in house, and the results speak for themselves.

🔵 Stock 114 HP
🔴 JB Tuned 140.8 HP

That’s a 26 plus HP increase with strong mid range improvement and smooth power delivery, ideal for real world boating conditions.

💻 From a tuning perspective these ECUs are almost identical in map structure to the Honda outboards, allowing us to apply the same proven development approach and safety strategies.

📌 Smaller Tohatsu engines will be coming at a later date as development continues.

This is a hands on role perfect for someone keen to learn and build a career in the mechanical industry.

Duties include
• Assisting tradesmen with mechanical and performance work

• Picking up parts and deliveries
• Stock and general workshop duties

This role has the potential to progress into an apprenticeship in automotive mechanics or heavy diesel for the right person.

This one came in for a big list of repairs and upgrades and once everything was sorted we fitted a turbo back exhaust and carried out a full custom dyno remap 🧠💻

We had Ned’s Hilux on for the usual tow tune package. ☝️

🔧 We fitted a 3 inch system and then onto the rollers for a custom tune.

These early Hilux models were very underwhelming in stock form but we’ve absolutely woken her up now 💪

👀 Down low torque has improved drastically with now over double the torque. 🙌

☝️ This Dmax made the trip all the way from Timber Creek after starting to have ongoing DPF related issues.

🔧 Once it landed in the workshop we got stuck straight into it. These are faults we see regularly and know how to fix properly once and for all so the vehicle can be trusted again.

With everything sorted it was straight onto the dyno for a custom STG1 tow tune 🛻💨

The gains speak for themselves
💥 Over 100Nm of torque off the bottom
💥 Almost 50HP over stock

The result is a much smoother drive massive low down torque and a ute that now tows with ease and confidence 💪

🔥 GSX-S1000 DYNO TUNED | REAL RESULTS 🔥

We had Andy’s Suzuki GSX-S1000 in the shop for a full exhaust system and custom dyno tune, and this one absolutely delivered.

This tune took a little longer than usual thanks to the weather being hot AF last week 🌡️🔥
Rather than rushing it, we got it mostly dialled in, let the bike cool down, and finished it properly after the long weekend because results matter.

💥 The gains speak for themselves:
• Full throttle: +15 HP
• ½ throttle: +10 HP
• ¼ throttle: a massive +24 HP

Not just peak numbers either the lower throttle drivability is next level. Super smooth, responsive, and a completely different bike to ride.

🧠 What we did:
✔️ Custom ECU dyno tune
✔️ Lowered fan temp switch by 10°C to keep temps under control
✔️ EVC fully deleted no piggy-back chips, no band-aids
✔️ Clean, reliable, OEM-style tuning done properly

This is how a GSX-S1000 should run.
